Roman Blinds offer great control of privacy, giving you a beautiful uninterrupted view when raised, or complete privacy when drawn.

The options of a range of fabric transparencies also offer further control of light and privacy.

In summer, Roman Blinds help keep the room cool, especially when using Verosol’s metallised fabric. Whilst in winter, they provide good insulation as they reduce the amount of heat escaping through windows, making the Roman an energy efficient blind all year round.

A wide range of fabric options are available, making the Roman Blind a versatile solution for any interior. The large variety of decorative fabrics and colour palettes means it will be easy to coordinate the blinds with the decor of your home or office.

Verosol’s unique high-performance fabric SilverScreen is also suitable for use on Roman Blinds. The metallised backing of this fabric offers unparalleled UV protection for your interior furnishings, as well as providing effective insulation and excellent vision out.

Operating and caring for roman blinds is as straightforward as the blinds are sleek and elegant. Blinds should always be raised if windows and/or doors are open, as wind could catch and damage the blind. Windows should be closed in rainy weather to avoid spotting or staining of the blinds.

Cleaning roman blinds requires different approaches depending on the fabric used. For light cleaning, blinds can be dusted with a soft brush or gently sponged clean. Marks can be spot cleaned with water and a damp cloth.

Verosol Roman Blinds are offered in a comprehensive range that reflects the high quality, no-fuss characteristics of a great window treatment style that’s both minimalist and textured.

Operating Roman Blinds

For maximum enjoyment from your Verosol Roman Blinds, we recommend the following:

  • Always raise the blinds if windows and/or doors are open, as a strong breeze could catch and damage the blind;

  • Avoid exposure to wind or rain, as rain blown onto the blind might stain the fabrics and these spots could be difficult to remove;

  • If your Roman blinds are cord operated, make sure you pull the lift cord towards the centre to raise the blind, this eases friction between the lift cord and the locking mechanism and will also extend the life-span of the cord.

Cleaning Roman Blinds

Choosing the best method of cleaning will depend on the fabric of your blinds.

  • Dust with a soft brush or gently sponge clean with warm soapy water, leaving the blinds down to dry;

  • Spot clean any marks with a soft damp cloth, make sure the cloth damp not wet to guard against leaving water marks.

Verosol Metallised fabrics are anti-static, meaning the product resists air-born dust.

  • If dusting is required, use a soft brush or dusting cloth.;

  • Dirt marks or spills on metallised fabric must be cleaned ultrasonically. Think of this process the same as taking your silks to the dry cleaners;

  • If the fabric in your blinds have a metallised backing;

  • DO NOT spray window cleaner on or near the fabric.
